The Conscious Campaign - Bring the Bars - Episode 1
During the Episode 1 of Bring the Bars by The Conscious Campaign, they dive into some of the music that speaks to them the most. For instance, the first single that was played was called"Black Spiderman" by Logic featured on his new album "Everybody". In the song, Logic talks about how he does not think he belongs and he is confessed. In the second verse, Logic speaks on not being ashamed of being Black and White and nor is he ashamed to be married to his Mexican wife. Before the clip was turned off during the podcast Logic encourages people to chase their dreams.
The Conscious campaign trio follows up with presenting their thoughts on what they took away for the "Black Spiderman" single and drive into how they felt that the Marland native has been overlooked in hip-hop, but instead of getting angry about Logic continues to make music that his supporters like and can relate to on a daily basis. The full 36-minute podcast can be heard below, please take a listen and do not forget to abide by The Conscious Campaign on Twitter @ConsciousSquad.
