The Lakers managed to hold on, however, thanks to some clutch free throws from Anthony Davis, Dennis Schröder some solid defense in the final seconds. In the end, the Lakers secured the 111-108 victory, much to the delight of their fans in attendance.
The win was a big one for the Lakers, who have now one four of their last five games. With the victory, the Lakers improved to 29-32 on the season, and move up to 12th in the Western Conference standings. The Mavericks, meanwhile, fell to 32-30 on the season, and remain in the sixth seed in the Western Conference.

Speaking of which during the second quarter of the game at the 9:29 mark, a Mavericks fan attempted to proposal, but his girlfriend elected to run up the stairs and decline her boyfriend’s proposal.
After the game Jason Kidd talked about the Mavericks blowing a 27 point league.
