As you all may know Butler requested that he be traded from the Timberwolves, also earlier this week ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Miami is his preferred destination. This doesn’t mean that this is the only team he will play for, but he does want the is whole saga to end soon.

Sources: Phoenix did check w/ Minnesota on cost of getting involved on a Jimmy Butler trade, but asking price was far too steep for Suns. So far, there’s been no communication on Teague or Dragic in a 3-way, but that could always change if Miami-Minnesota go deeper into talks. https://t.co/djW3tdMyNL

Brandon Robinson of Scoop B Radio also earlier this week reported that the Rockets were prepared to put together a trade package that would be featured around Eric Gordon and some fillers for Butler. Gordon will be a free agent after the upcoming season and he is a piece that would fit nicely in the Timberwolves rotation. At this time it is unclear if PJ Tucker will be included in those trade talks. We will keep up dated on this as it develops
