Los Angeles Lakers point-forward LeBron James is very in tune with what is going on in the league, NFL, Hollywood, and also the music industry. James is also very aware of the New Orleans music scene is a fan of Silkk the Shocker and his brother Master P. Silkk the Shocker is also a fan of James.

Shocker was recently on Heavy on Lakers’ Live and shared with Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson the first time he met James.

“The first time I met him, he was like whats up whoadie is a New Orleans thing. So, for him to know that is kinda of crazy, but he is definitely in tune of what is going on. I think is almost a level of respect,” said Shocker. “I have a lot of basketball buddies, have a lot of friends that are hoopers. And I think music and sports go together. So, our respect for them is the same respect for us.”

LeBron James is an executive producer on 2 Chainz Rap Or Go To The League, and Mark Cuban is a fan. At the time Cuban on had one qualm, that being it had more success than Shaq starring in Kazaam!

“It’s like anything else if it’s good it works,” Mark Cuban told me last season.

“And if it is not, it won’t. Shaq and Kazaam not so much. I always encourage people to take entrepreneurial chances, and you will never know until you try. LeBron has had a lot of success. He and Mav [Maverick Carter] have done great things together.”

James didn’t play against the Houston Rockets on Thursday night due to a sore groin. The fell to the Rockets 113 to 97. At one point in the game they cut the lead to five, but want cold from three and the Rockets pulled away for good. The Lakers offense has been stagnant in the bubble thus far and James addressed it recently.

LeBron gave a weird answer about this. He agreed that he and the Lakers were looking for a rhythm on offense. And then he said, according to Joe Vardon of The Athletic. “It’s just some things that you can’t control that’s here, that I really don’t want to talk about, that’s off the floor.”
