The Golden State Warriors are coming off a season where they weren’t able to join the Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers as the only teams to three-peat in the modern era of the NBA. This offseason has already seen two-time Finals MVP Kevin Durant take his talents to Brooklyn to join forces with Kyrie Irving. It has also seen DeMarcus Cousins sign with the Lakers, only to tear his ACL before the start of the season and Quinn Cook decided to leave and sign with the Los Angeles Lakers.

However, the Warriors have been able to bring in some talent as well, as they received D’Angelo Russell in a sign and trade with the Nets, signed Willie Cauley Stein, and resigned Kevon Looney, while signing Klay Thompson and Draymond Green to contract extensions.

Meanwhile, two-time MVP Stephen Curry took sometime over the weekend to play pick games with some of the locals at a park in Oakland. Mistah Fab, who was a Bay Area Icon, was also in attendance. Curry can be seen shooting lights out and even went one on one with one of the locals, who had hoop dreams at some point in his life. He will be able to tell his future kids and grandchildren, that he hit a game-winner over a two-time MVP, and a future Hall of Famer. After waving off the screen. This is definitely a highlight that he will never forget.
